From the innovative factory owner, to the enthusiastic mill technician, to talented pattern makers and designers; it’s the face to face interactions with the global creative partners that have shaped his knowledge and creativity. It always comes down to the people.
His professional experiences include companies ranging from small start-ups to established global organizations, and everything in between. All have presented their own unique opportunities and learning. It is in the challenges that yield the greatest growth and benefits. One learns to be resourceful when there’s a lack of resources, to do whatever is necessary to achieve the goals. Danny’s entrepreneurial spirit has been the internal driver throughout his career. It’s wonderfully satisfying to create processes and add structure to an organization where there was once nothing, or build upon accepted practices with new ideas for improvement, and nurture a team to success.
His concept to consumer hands-on experience includes every step of the full product life cycle; from color stories, sourcing, driving innovation in fabric and design, merchandising collections, sourcing factories, fittings to sales and merchandising presentations. This clear understanding of how intimately linked each element is provides a big picture view that has allowed him to leverage this knowledge and create efficiently and intelligently from inception to completion.
